Active Devon

Active Devon is a countywide partnership for physical activity and sport and is one of 49 county partnerships supported by Sport England. Active Devon comprises a diverse range of organisations involved in or with physical activity and sport all committed to achieving our vision: Getting everyone in Devon active for life through local community based opportunities and coordinated partnerships

We believe passionately that participation in physical activity contributes positively to people and the communities in which they live and work. That is why our biggest challenge is to meet the Government's target of achieving a 1% year on year increase in physical activity participation in the adult population.

Devon provides a wonderful county in which to pursue an active lifestyle. A landscape including the Moor and many beautiful beaches and coastlines provides the perfect playground for people to become more physically active.
