WildCurl.co.uk is a collaborative E-zine & directory, based around entertainment & tourism in North Devon. WildCurl, with assistance of its users, does the hard work for you, by collecting and sharing all the latest relevant information, so you can make the most of the area.

WildCurl is not aimed at a certain age group, but at those who want to enjoy North Devon. Whether you're a local or visitor you are sure to find something to tickle your fancy on WildCurl.co.uk. Our readers include the highly aware and extremely active - they're out there getting involved.

We are a local team, passionate about North Devon and dedicated to helping others who want to experience it & have a great time. We know the area, its people and the best places so we want to share this with a wider audience. We have a variety of skills in the areas of: tourism, design, art, music and management. The WildCurl team hobbies mostly include: Music, Art and Adventure Sports.

Creator of WildCurl, Helen Blackman puts the 'm' in multitasking. With a First Class Degree in Design Management from The Surrey Institute of Art and Design, Helen spent a good few years travelling in India, Europe, South and Central America before returning to her Devonshire roots to turn the seed of an idea into a reality. A keen runner, swimmer, cyclist and surfer, Helen is working on finding more time away from the computer to indulge in her hobbies. Helen’s enthusiasm, zeal and passion for North Devon is contagious, she will no doubt continue to shout about its greatness until the whole world knows! As WildCurl expands Helen is enjoying new projects, working in design, event managment, PR and marketing with local businesses. Helen has a close working relationship with Broomhill Art Hotel which is also one of her favourite places to visit because of its vibrancy and shared passion for Devonshire produce.

Helen finds it hard to sit still and likes being different, she loves her husband Joel, her dog billy, North Devon, long board surfing, diving, dark chocolate, Spanish, playing the guitar, radio Nova and holidays!
